Who is responsible

This policy covers orvasn.com, operated by Orva Studies Network. Orva decides how the information described here is used. Write to info@orvasn.com or call (719) 701-8266 with any question about it.

Reading the site

You can read every page without telling us anything. Orva runs no analytics and no advertising or tracking cookies. The server keeps standard request logs, such as the time and the address that asked for a page, for security.

What the sign-up collects

The sign-up asks for your first and last name and email address. You may also give a mobile number, which is needed only for texts. To record your consent we also keep the time you signed up, the page you used, your IP address and your browser type.

Orva does not ask for medical records, diagnoses or insurance details.

How it is used

Your details are used to send the updates you asked for, to answer you when you contact us, and to keep proof of your consent. Nothing else.

Who receives it

Orva does not pass your details to study teams, research sites or sponsors. When a study interests you, you contact its team yourself. Texts come directly from Orva and never enroll you in a study. Service providers that host the site and deliver our messages handle information for us, on our instructions, and may not use it for anything else.

Your personal information will not be sold or leased to any third party.

Mobile numbers and text consent

Your mobile information will not be shared with any third party for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Reply STOP to any text to end them. More detail is in the SMS terms.

How long we keep it

A sign-up stays active until you ask us to close it. We then delete your details within thirty days, keeping only the record of your consent and of any opt-out for as long as we may need to show them.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by email or phone. We reply within thirty days and respect any further rights your state gives you.

Security

Information sent through the site travels encrypted and is stored on servers with restricted access. No system is perfectly secure, which is one reason Orva keeps so little.

Children

The sign-up is for adults. Orva does not knowingly keep details about anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, so does the date at the top. If a change affects details you have already given us, we will tell you before it takes effect.

ORVASTUDIES NETWORK

Orva Studies Network is not a medical provider or a study sponsor and does not give medical advice. Only a study’s own research team decides who takes part.
